Don't do it...if you already have a strained relationship with them... I can guarantee by the time you get back from your 8 days with them...you will be a wreck and the relationship will be destroyed beyond repair. Why would want to put yourself and family through this ?? Sharp Shooting Stomach Pains?

For about and hour now Ive been having these sharp pains in my stomach. Its a kind of pain that I havnt had before. Not like a period pain or stomach upset. It hurts more when I stand up striaght and hardly at all when i sit down and bring my knees to my chest. As I am 14 I am definatly not pregant and my period ended about a week ago. It is a bit hard to pinpoint the exact spot of the pain cos it keeps changing but it is just below my belly on, around the middle of my stomach, but sometimes the pain changes from the right side of my stomach to the left, and then back to the middle again. It is a kind of pain that makes you want to just grab your stomach. But its not a pain that is strong enough to make you scream or make any sounds of any sort. Its just very sharp. I have told my mum and she said to just see how it goes, and see if I still have it tomorrow morning. I dont feel nautious or sick in any way at all. And I dont have a temperature or look pale or anything like that.

I have an entire home network, which mostly has no problems. I recently installed a new copy of Win XP on one of the systems and now the internet on it is unbareably slow. I can't say it worked perfect before the format, and the problem is only on that one system. Thinking it might have been the NIC, I also installed a USB Wireless card, but it hasn't sped anything up. There's still some driver issues, but it doesn't appear to be anything with the ethernet drivers, as those have been updated. I'm not a computer dummy and am quite familiar with most common issues, but this has me stumped.

Six weeks after my daughter was born, I started taking Micronor. I started my first period 2 1/2 weeks into taking it. Then, after that 1 cycle I switched to Yasmin because I stopped nursing. I bought a 1992 Jeep Cherokee recently and I'm not sure if overdrive works right on it. How can I tell?

I don't know if there is a switch to turn it off or on. If not, how do you engage overdrive? Is there a light on the dash or somewhere that comes on when it is in overdrive? I've been having trouble with the front end of the Jeep shaking when I drive on the interstate between 45 and 65 mph. I understand what overdrive does, but I have never owned a vehicle with it before. I just don't know if it is working right on my 1992 Jeep Cherokee.

Last night (It's morning here), my dad needed a hand at the reaally tiny taco shop he owns. He's in his late-sixties, so of course I couldn't just leave him, though I usually work as a peer leader at a youth group on Saturday nights. My husband is also a peer leader, and at around ten at night, all of them walked three blocks to my dad's shop to say hi. Should I change my girlfriend...?

I have a girlfriend who I have been going out with for 2 yrs. She's a very sweet, and mature girl (I'm 22 and she's 26); however, I feel that her personality and mine don't match up too well. She knows how to cook for me, understands when I'm tired, knows how to give me a mage when I need it. My family loves her for these qualities and being a goodie good girl, and her mom is amazing; they just love to give and give and give. Almost seems like everything's too perfect. However, there are drawbacks... she's a pretty reserved person, and every time I go out with her or with our friends she has very little to say, and I don't want people to get the wrong message that she's antisocial or whatever. She doesn't have a lot of girlfriends to go out with, so she doesn't spend too much time figuring out out how to have fun either. Some times she can be too serious, and can't relax and just take a breather. Another thing is that she is not confident enough to lead anything or do anything beyond a certain boundary. She doesn't even want to try some times and that's what ticks me off a bit. She is always obsessed with getting married, and I feel she is taking the relationship a little too fast. Overall, I feel that I might be bored over time, and end up cheating on her. I don't want to enter that route. Something I am really scared of. She doesn't like to even dress up or look pretty for herself, yet she is always beating herself up and saying she is ugly. It puts me in awkward situations sometimes. I know I listed more cons than I did pros, but hopefully, I get my message across. I just want to know if I should try to change her? (I know everyone has to be themselves, but please just think about this on a deeper level) And maybe I should give her a bit of influence in the other direction so our relationship could be a little more interesting? Or should I just find a cuter funner girlfriend? This is a situation where people would say that I have the "wife at home" as opposed to the "trophy wife"; I want both. I'm curious to know why U.S. cities have far more murders than European cities. Any thoughts? I know poverty exists everywhere, but looking at the stats, I see troubled cities like Glasgow Scottland was the worst with about 5.5 murders/100k people while US cities like New Orleans or Detriot are around 50-60 murders/100k. I was also (which NOW I am NOT, after discovering Islam) It is the most perfect religion that I have read about and studied in college. You should try reading about it. It is a very good religion and it's very simple. Don't go by what people in the religion do, you have to read and know the religion itself and not some imperfect people who try to make it look bad. So yea trying reading about Islam, it's also the last religion God brought down from heaven. It also holds a lot of POWER. Ex: if you take all the Qurans in the world and you throw them in the ocean you would find it again in less then 2 days because many Muslims actually memorize every single word by heart and could recite it to you instantly which no other religion has. Heading toward Divorce?

Forgive me. This is my first time on here as well as being married. I feel at this point I have no were to turn emotionally. I feel bad that my marriage is heading toward divorce already giving that we haven't even been married a year. My spouse and I have been together a total of six years though. My spouse mentality is one sided. I feel that I have put so much in this relationship this far and I don't know if I am willing to go the extra mile to try to save it. I have been through a time with him when he didn't want to work leaving me to take care of us. I am currently a prisoner by his manipulation, he doesn't believe his wrong in anything that he do. I feel that he think I am super woman. I work full-time, go to school full-time, have three kids and a home. I fail to comply with all the things that I have to do listed above because I can't do all of these things alone. I have tried to explain this to him and all I get is, "there's people out there that does it everyday." I make more money than him on my job but, they say that we make to much to be able to get food stamps which in my opinion we need those benefits. I told him that I may have to go part-time in order to achieve everything that needs to be done. I don't get any support on that issue other than you can do it. What kills me the most is at times I feel like his against me. Any typical conversation that we have always lead to him denouncing me as a person. Before, marriage he use to help me with the house now I don't get that at all. I try to talk to him about my concerns and all he do is put blame on me, overtalk me, curse me, turn away from me. , on the other hand is an issue as well. He loves which is typical for any guy I believe. However, I have slacked off giving him some due to his bad attitude to where I am turned off majority of the time. Currently, I work the night shift. When I come home especting sleep I am awoke to him wanting to eat. Which, in that issue he only once again thinking of himself. He has told me before that he has taken me for granted. I feel like we living that cycle again. I do admit. I haven't been on my game when it comes to our children as far as discpline because I am tired or sleepy. I feel that I can't win with this man. A part of me wants to byp counseling all together. Alot of me wants out and, only a small percentage of me wants in. His has pushed me away with his ways and bad attitude. I wanted to get my daughter's ears pierced so she wouldn't remember the pain. I changed my mind only because I thought about how excited I was when my mom said I could get my ears pierced. Everytime I've excersized this week I've started spotting almost immediately afterwords. Like, at the beginning of the week, I did six miles on my roller blades and started spotting, and then yesterday I did another 10 miles. And as soon as I got home, I started spotting. Officer changed date on traffic ticket and never notified my son before submitting it...?

My son was issued a traffic violation for hitting a mailbox, the officer gave him the ticket with "call within 20 days" written in the court date section. He called the court 10 days later and was told he would be notified by the court as to his date, the officer should've known better than to write down this message. Having heard nothing from the court, I called myself after Christmas and found out the officer had changed his ticket copy to reflect a court date of 12/11/07 before turning it in. The secretary of state's office sent my son a letter saying his license is under probation because he did not contest his citation--presumed guilty plus a bench warrant was issued and fines essed for not showing up. We immediately went to the courthouse with the original ticket, which was photocopied and the warrant and fines removed (so they say). Can this be grounds for dismissal? What happens to his driving record since his court date is not until April 3? Why would he do this? Help!

Turkey Defrosting..I have no IDea?

Should I extract teeth for braces?

I got braces about a year and a half ago. My orthodontist recommended that I extract four teeth to get rid of my overbite which was 7mm. I decided to proceed with getting the braces without extractions, even though I knew the after effect wouldn't be as good. A vaccination question?

I have a son that has severe allergic reactions to multiple vaccine components. It was suggested by the allergist, that if we wanted to get vaccines, he would need to be admitted to the hospital the night before, and medicated prior to the injection. He would need an IV incase there is a severe reaction, then he would be monitored for several hours after. We said yeah no thanks.

ok it has been probably about 4 or 5 yrs since i have been on depo. i took it for that long. i started when i was 16 years old i am now 24. i am now on pills (ortho tri-cyclen regular) i have tried so many because i have such bad problems with breakthrough bleeding. i am at my wits end. i have been on ortho now for 3 full months this is my 4th and i am on pill 13. i had not been having any problems with the bleeding til now. i take my pill on time everyday. the problem is i have been re-reading info on the depo and see that bleeding is the main side effect. i dont remember having many problems back then with bleeding but im scared to go back to depo i do know that i only had maybe 2 periods a year after the first two injections. so would my body still react the same way as it did back then or will i have to suffer with bleeding irregularities for a long time. i am so tired of constantly bleeding when i do have the bb spells it is for 2 weeks at a time. i have tried tri-phasil (switched to make migraines less frequent) to alesse (breakthrough after a year) to jolessa (breakthrough after a year) to now ortho reg- breakthrough now on the 4th month. i dont know what to do and would like some advice. thanks

How can I deal with the problems between me and my parents?

OK,So recently I have changed a lot, and my parents are taking it all in kind of difficult. I have went from shopping at Hollister, Abercrombie, and A&E, To shopping at Hot Topic, Pac Sun, and Rue 21. I went from listening to rap music to listening to screamo. Just....I have changed a lot, and my parents just don't seem to accept that. It's really hard too, because they treat my differently and they even think that I'm like...some sort of Satan worshiper or something, which i'm NOT. I am Christian. It just kind of gets annoying and makes me sad that my own parents don't have faith in me anymore, and I don't know what to do. I mean, I still act the same. I keep my grades up. I just have different interests now. My mom won't even let me wear eyeliner or dye my hair because she thinks that those things are too "wild". WTF?!? What REALLY gets on my nerves, is that my parents don't let me be myself. Is it the end of the world if I want to wear eyeliner or dye my hair? NO! It's torture not being able to express yourself for who you really are. It's like you're in a cage and can't escape. When I ask my parents why they don't let me dress how I want and etc, they say,"Brittany,The way you dress affects your whole life. If you dress in these dark colors now, then ppl will judge you and won't accept you. They will think you are some sort of trouble maker and won't wanna be friends with you. Your teachers will automatically hate you and you won't get into college, then you won't have a good job, and then you will be screwed." WTF?! The truth is that my friends have stuck with me through me changing like this and still think i'm the best. I have A LOT of friends. My teachers LOVE me and I NEVER get into trouble. I am a very nice kid and my parents just don't seem to beleive that anymore. What my parents say is "protecting" me, Is really just torturing me. No one judges me, but apparently me parents don't see that. There is nothing wrong with expressing yourself but i guess my parents think that there is.
