Should I get a Kindle for college textbooks?

I'm going to Auburn next year, (WAR EAGLE!) and I'm thinking about getting a Kindle or Nook to download all of my textbooks. I think its a good idea to have them all consolidated like that, so that my backpack won't be heavy, but I'm also not sure if I'll be able to study as easily, reading off of an electronic screen is so different from reading a real book. But keep in mind, It'll also be a lot cheaper to just download all my books.. . ahh what do you guys think?
