Question about doctor consultation?

I stay in US and I have been detected with PCOS in India. I just wanted to consult a doctor here and get medications for ovulation. I wanted to ask if the doctor will prescribe me the medicines without any internal checkup and just having a look at my reports from India. I am scared of all these internal checkups.
