Is it true I would only face a maximum fine of $500 if i were to vandalize a veterans memorial with eggs?

If one of us veterans catches you, you'll beg to be sent to prison! ...and you damn well better hope there's not a Veterans Incarcerated chapter in the prison to which you'd be sent! We are not kind to cretins who disrespect our fallen comrades!
