S & M,Leather,...north american gay men are really into these?

I�m brazilian and i ume latin american gay men ( at least people i know...) seem not too keen on going this ...i don�t know if it�s our beach oriented culture or if we actually lack a genuine gay community ourselves but what really seems to turn us all on is the regular,tanned, hot looking,butch acting beach hunk...a lot of gay guys over here play "dude",completely opposited to the Mister top leather thing...you simply can�t tell the gay from the straight hottie over here because we borrow our stereotypes from straight people,you know?Leather and really turn you on,or is it just an impression?
